Advantages
- Great solution for fingers where the size difference is 1–3 UK sizes — ring is still very easy to take on and off and doesn't roll
- Particularly good for stone settings
- Looks completely natural on the finger
Drawbacks
- Where the knuckle is 4 or more sizes larger, this may still irritate the knuckle going on and off
- For existing rings, all original marks and engraving will be lost
